correctであり続けるのは難しい

rightとcorrectの話の続き。

correctであり続けるのはものすごく難しいことだ。理由付けが投機的短絡の連続であるため、その整合性を確認しながら短絡するというのは至難の技であり、それを成し遂げようとするのがつまり学問である。

It is really difficult to maintain correctness. As the reasoning process is a series of speculative short circuits, it is no easy feat to ensure the consistency between the short circuits, and the movement to accomplish it is called as science.

だからこそ、人間は必ずしもcorrectではない判断を共有するために、rightというコンセンサスに基づく基準を採用するのだろう。

Therefore, human adopt the standard of "rightness", which is based on consensus, to share decisions which are not necessarily "correct".

理由律と無矛盾律を両立させることは、果たして人間に可能なのだろうか。そして、そこにこだわることにはどれくらいの利点があるのだろうか。

Is it possible for human to deal with principle of sufficient reason and law of noncontradiction? And, how many benefits does it have to stick to it?
