chemistryに相性の意味があることを初めて知った。


chemistry between two foodsで食べ合わせの意味になるだろうか。
納豆とトーストは意外に良く合う。
Natto, maybe contrary to expectation, has good chemistry with toast.
トーストと牛乳も良く合う。
∴納豆と牛乳は良く合う。

この結論に違和感を覚えるのは、おそらく食べ合わせの集合

{f | f : F→F は良い食べ合わせ}

但し、Fは食べ物全体の集合

が和について閉じていないからであろう。
